[Mobile Reporter Noh Woo-young] Hongseong-gun set a goal of 368.4 billion won for 89 national and provincial funding projects in 2025 and invited Kang Seung-gyu, the 22nd National Assembly member-elect, to a meeting on ways to secure the government budget and pending projects.
A meeting on plans to secure the 2025 government budget and pending projects held at the county office auditorium at 2 p.m. on the 17th was held with about 50 people in attendance, including Mayor Lee Yong-rok of Hongseong County, National Assembly member-elect Kang Seung-gyu, County Chairman Lee Seon-gyun, county lawmakers, and senior government officials.
Discussions were held on policy directions for 89 key projects, totaling KRW 368.4 billion in national and provincial funds (total project cost KRW 3.4722 trillion).

Major pending issues include ▲Creation of a pet win-welfare valley ▲Creation of a smart agricultural complex for youth startups ▲Relocation of KT’s Hongseong branch ▲Restoration and maintenance of Hongju-eupseong Fortress ▲Establishment of a low-carbon land Kim Yang-sik smart factory ▲Creation of a K-Rock digital space ▲Western inland He explained the installation of Donghongseong IC on the highway, demonstration of Yongbongsan Forest Adventure wooden construction, and establishment of the South Chungcheong branch of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and requested active cooperation and support to ensure smooth implementation of pending projects.
Kang Seung-gyu, National Assembly member-elect, said, “As Hongseong-gun’s policies and vision were shared through today’s meeting, I will work with the central government as a local member of the National Assembly to ensure that the discussed projects and proposals are reflected in government ministries.” Lee Yong-rok, Mayor of Hongseong County, said. He urged public officials, including others, to work together.
County Governor Lee Yong-rok responded, “I look forward to the active work of National Assembly member Kang Seung-gyu so that the pending projects scattered within the region can be successfully promoted.” He added, “I will work even harder with county officials for a warm partnership and a happy Hongseong.” .
