Sejong Mayor Choi Min-ho and National Hangeul Museum Director Kim Il-hwan signed a business agreement at the Hangeul Love Book Culture Center at City Hall on the 17th.

This agreement , signed in the presence of Kim Ryeo-soo, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Park Yeong-guk, CEO of Sejong City Culture and Tourism Foundation, and Sejong City, which aims to become a Hangeul Culture City, has the goal of ‘Hangul culture spreading to the world in cooperation with the region’. Since receiving approval for the Korea Culture City project plan from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism last year, the city has been promoting the Korea Culture City creation project with the goal of ‘Sejong, a Korean culture city connecting the world.’
About 500,000 people visit the National Hangeul Museum (139 Seobinggo-ro, Yongsan-gu) every year, and in particular, the Hangeul Playground, a space where the five senses experience the principles of the Korean alphabet, is loved by parents of infants and toddlers.

According to this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in ▲ mutual utilization and sharing of cultural resources ▲ joint project promotion, promotion, and human exchange related to the promotion of Korean culture ▲ Korean language cultural city creation project.
