The Black Starlets entered halftime with a 2-0 advantage, showing promise of more goals in the second half.
Despite winning several free kicks after the break, Ghana couldn’t capitalize on these opportunities, leaving fans eager for more.
As Benin sought to reduce the deficit, the Black Starlets maintained their aggressive attack until the final whistle.
Speaking at the post-game press conference, the former Black Stars player expressed that qualifying the team to the 2025 AFCON would be a great delight for him.
Ghana will now face the second-placed team from Group B in their next match, scheduled for Saturday.
