Bibiani Goldstars SC were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Aduana FC at the Duns Park in Bibiani in the Ghana Premier League.
The Miners headed into the encounter hoping to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to regional rivals FC Samartex and secure a much-needed victory to boost the confidence of the team.
However, despite creating some promising goalscoring opportunities in both halves, Goldstars struggled to find the back of the net, with their inability to convert chances costing them two valuable points on home soil.
Aduana FC, on the other hand, will be pleased with the result, having followed up their impressive 2-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea last weekend with another positive outing on the road.
The draw leaves Bibiani Goldstars still searching for consistency and their best form as the league campaign progresses, while Aduana will take confidence from a hard-earned point away from home.
