New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reaffirmed his belief that Ghanaians are more inspired by visionary leadership than by displays of personal wealth or influence.

Addressing delegates and supporters in the Dormaa West Constituency as part of his “Our Journey Together” campaign, Dr. Bawumia said the country’s future depends on bold, transformative ideas and the willingness to implement them, not on how rich or powerful a leader is.

He highlighted his long-standing commitment to practical, people-centered policies aimed at transforming Ghana’s economy through innovation, digitalisation, and inclusivity.

According to the former Vice President, leadership should be measured by the ability to create opportunities for ordinary citizens; from farmers to traders and young entrepreneurs, and not by the size of one’s fortune.

He stated that his campaign is anchored on practical and transformative policies designed to strengthen the economy, create sustainable jobs, and promote inclusive development across all sectors.
