Captain Agyei Duah was the hero of the night as the Ashanti Region wrote their names into the history books, defeating Western Region 2-1 to lift the KGL U-17 Regional Championship title at the McDan Sports Complex in Teshie last Saturday.
The victory makes Ashanti Region the first team to win the competition twice, adding to their maiden triumph in 2023.
Duah struck twice in a dazzling first-half display to hand Ashanti a commanding two-goal cushion in the 2025 final.
