The 2025 Sapholda Greater Accra Hockey League reached a dramatic climax at the Theodosia Okoh Stadium last Saturday, with Exchequers of the Bank of Ghana and the Royal Ladies of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) crowned champions in the men’s and women’s divisions respectively.
Exchequers clinched the men’s title by the narrowest of margins, edging rivals GRA on goal difference after a nerve-shredding final day.
The defending champions were held to a frustrating goalless draw by Reformers of Prisons -– the first time all season they had failed to score -– leaving their fate hanging in the balance.
