Leading figures of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were spotted at the party’s headquarters in Accra today, August 28, ahead of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s official filing of his nomination forms to contest the NPP flagbearership of the party.

Among the party stalwarts captured at the headquarters were Sammy Awuku, former National Lottery Authority (NLA) Director-General; Henry Quartey, former Greater Accra Regional Minister; former Ambrose Dery, former Minister for the Interior; and Francis Asenso-Boakye, Minister for Works and Housing.

Their presence signals growing momentum and consolidated backing behind the former Vice President’s campaign within the upper ranks of the party as the NPP intensifies its preparations for the presidential primaries.
