Ghana’s all-conquering national armwrestling team, Golden Arms, have received another major boost as the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) reaffirmed its commitment to back the sport after their latest heroics on the continental stage.
Fresh from dominating the Africa Armwrestling Championship in Abuja with a jaw-dropping 55-medal haul, comprising including 26 gold, 20 silver and nine bronze, the team paid a courtesy call on NHIA Executive Management in Accra to express their gratitude for the Authority’s continued support.
NHIA Chief Executive, Dr Victor Asare Bampoe, hailed the Golden Arms’ remarkable consistency, describing them as a true source of national pride.
