Ghanaian winger Kingsford Boakye-Yiadom scored two goals and provided an assist as Everton’s U21 side drew 3-3 with a PFA Select XI in their final pre-season friendly.

The 20-year-old came off the bench to convert a penalty after being fouled during a run down the left wing. He added his second in the 73rd minute with a shot from outside the penalty area to reduce the deficit to 3-2.

Boakye-Yiadom then set up the equaliser with a pass to a teammate, who scored to make it 3-3.

Last season, he played in the Premier League 2 and became the first Everton player to score from open play at the club’s newly built stadium.

He has also made three appearances for Ghana’s Black Satellites in friendly matches.
