Black Maidens have secured a spot in the final of the 2024 WAFU Zone B U17 Girls Cup following a commanding 5-0 victory over Ivory Coast in the semi-finals on Thursday in Prampram.
Star forward Christina Ashiaku was the standout performer, opening the scoring just 14 minutes into the match.
She continued her brilliant form, completing a first-half hat-trick, giving Ghana a 3-0 lead at the break and leaving Ivory Coast with little hope of a comeback.
In the second half, the Black Maidens maintained their commanding performance, adding two more goals.
