On the state of the Essipong Stadium that was built to host games in the 2008 AFCON in Ghana, Minister Ussif shared a positive message.

“We have very good news for you on Essipong. As we speak, the contractor is roofing Essipong. We told you from the beginning that work was ongoing…when you are doing construction, there is no way the place will look very tidy until you finish.”

Honourable Ussif

“We told you that they were blasting because a lot of the metals that were used were being damaged and the contractor as part of his scope was to make sure that they blast them all the metals and then coat them.”
