A person must not threaten to distribute, by post, email, text or any electronic means, a private image or moving images of someone engaged in sexually explicit conduct, in order to harass, coerce or extort money or some other consideration, or to force unwanted sexual activity. Carrying out the extortion is a separate limb of the same offence.
