Decomposed body of Mfantsipim student found in abandoned building

The decomposed body of a 17-year-old missing Mfantsipim student has been found in an abandoned building at Ola North.

According to preliminary reports, the body of the deceased, identified as Emmanuel Arthur, had been at the location for several days, with pathologists noting advanced decomposition upon examination.

Investigators recovered a black backpack, two mobile phones, and academic materials from the scene.

The remains were transported to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for post-mortem examination before being released to the family.

Police have classified the death as a suicide.
