Doosan Enerbility announced Tuesday it has signed two consecutive long-term parts procurement contracts with Korea Southern Power (KOSPO) covering three gas turbines at the Goyang Changneung combined heat and power plant and the Hadong combined cycle power plant, with the deals totaling approximately 480 billion won ($318.6 million). The contracts follow a gas turbine supply agreement the two companies signed in February and cover hot-section parts supply, component repair and refurbishment, consumable materials, and technical support services. Both plants are targeting commercial operation in December 2029, and the service contracts will typically run for 10 or more years from that point, aligning with major maintenance cycles. Doosan Enerbility said the agreements are significant because they secure a long-term service relationship alongside turbine supply, allowing the company to lock in scheduled maintenance planning from the earliest stage of plant operation.
