Cedi depreciation normal, says Bank of Ghana — But excessive volatility remains a concern

Bank of Ghana Governor Dr Asiama has clarified that the Cedi is expected to fluctuate daily under Ghana’s managed float framework, saying the central bank’s concern is excessive volatility, not day-to-day depreciation or appreciation.
