Rent Controller orders temporary freeze on student hostel fee increases ahead of 2026/2027 academic year

Office of the Rent Commissioner has directed all private hostel operators near universities to place an immediate hold on any planned fee increases for the 2026/2027 academic year, pending stakeholder engagement.
