Former University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore, 39, was detained by police in Michigan on Wednesday evening just hours after being fired “with cause” by the university following an internal investigation that found “credible evidence” he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
Authorities said the City of Saline Police Department located and detained Moore, later turning him over to the Pittsfield Township Police Department, which is investigating an alleged assault that led to his custody.
