The 2025 FIFPRO Men’s World XI has been revealed — and Premier League representation has dropped compared to last year.
This year’s team, voted for by over 20,000 professional footballers from 68 countries, features just three players from the English top flight — two fewer than in 2024.
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk is the only Premier League player to retain his place in the side, anchoring a three-man defence.
He is joined by Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma — although it’s worth noting that much of Donnarumma’s success came during his time with Paris Saint-Germain last season.
