Berekum Chelsea\u2019s rising star Kwesi Sorotu is fast emerging as one of the standout performers in the 2025\/26 Ghana Premier League season.<\/p>\n

At just 17, the midfielder has become the heartbeat of the club\u2019s midfield, combining power, poise, and precision beyond his years.<\/p>\n

Despite Chelsea\u2019s difficult start, Sorotu\u2019s maturity and consistency have shone through. Last season, he started 28 of 34 league games, displaying tireless energy, defensive intelligence, and sharp technical ability \u2014 traits that have drawn early comparisons to Ghana legend Michael Essien.<\/p>\n

This campaign, Sorotu has stepped up another level. In six appearances, he has already won two Man of the Match awards. His first came in the 2-0 win over Basake Holy Stars, where his drive and creativity inspired Chelsea\u2019s first victory of the season.<\/p>\n
