A Senegalese goalkeeper, Cheikh Tour\u00e9, has reportedly been found dead in Ghana, according the country\u2019s Foreign Affairs Ministry.<\/p>\n

Preliminary investigations by Senegal\u2019s Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs revealed that the deceased was a \u201cvictim of network of scams and extortionat of funds.\u201d<\/p>\n

The specific details regarding his death, however, remain unclear. <\/p>\n

Per a statement from the Ministry, the Senegalese Embassy in Accra has confirmed that the body has since been deposited at the Ebenezer Tarfo morgue in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n

The Embassy has since dispatched two agents to Kumasi to \u201cassist local authorities in the administrative and judicial procedures in order to prepare, and link with the family\u201d to repatriate the body as soon as the necessary authorisation has been obtained.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
