As part of activities to observe its 20th<\/sup> anniversary, Zenith Bank Ghana has organized a Health Walk, bringing together staff, customers, partners, shareholders, and members of the business community from across the country in a colourful show of unity, vitality, and corporate strength.<\/p>\n

The event, held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the bank\u2019s headquarters in Accra, on the theme \u201c20 Years of Impact, A Lifetime of Shared Growth,\u201d celebrated two decades of innovation, resilience, and customer-focused excellence that have shaped the bank\u2019s leadership in Ghana\u2019s financial sector.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Henry Onwuzurigbo, expressed deep pride and gratitude for the bank\u2019s journey from humble beginnings into one of Ghana\u2019s most respected financial institutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwenty years ago, we began a journey fuelled by vision, driven by innovation, and anchored in service excellence,\u201d Mr. Onwuzurigbo said. \u201cToday, we have walked to honour the strides we have made \u2014 strides that have transformed the banking landscape in Ghana and elevated the Zenith brand to one of strength, innovation and trust.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Onwuzurigbo highlighted the bank\u2019s remarkable growth trajectory over the past two decades, noting that Zenith Bank Ghana has evolved from assets of less than GHS 65 million at inception to over GHS 22.5 billion as of the second quarter of 2025. The bank\u2019s shareholders\u2019 funds have also grown impressively to GHS 2.6 billion, while maintaining a robust capital adequacy ratio above regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese achievements are not just figures on a balance sheet,\u201d he emphasized. \u201cThey are the result of our dedication and your unwavering belief in the vision of Zenith Bank Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event also saw participation from the Graphic Communications Group, which is marking its 75th Anniversary, and members of the Ghana Wheelchair Basketball Federation, both recognized by the MD for their partnership and support.<\/p>\n

Mr. Onwuzurigbo extended heartfelt appreciation to the bank\u2019s board, management, staff, customers, regulators, partners, and the media for their collective role in building Zenith Bank\u2019s legacy.<\/p>\n

Looking to the future, he reaffirmed the bank\u2019s commitment to continued innovation and excellence.<\/p>\n
