Reverend Daniel Annan has explained that sex is not merely a physical act but a deeply spiritual experience that can create lasting soul ties between partners.<\/p>\n

Speaking on\u00a0Let\u2019s Talk<\/strong> with Aseiduwaa\u00a0on Joy Prime on Tuesday, Rev Annan made the point during a discussion about a woman who remains emotionally attached to her ex-lover despite being married. According to the woman, she continues to feel a strong connection to her former partner, who is also unwilling to let her go. The emotional struggle has left her feeling guilty and conflicted, leading her to seek help.<\/p>\n

Rev Annan said such situations are not uncommon and often have deeper spiritual roots. He explained that sex involves more than physical intimacy, noting that soul ties are formed when two people become sexually involved. These ties, he added, make it difficult for individuals to detach emotionally and spiritually even after a breakup.<\/p>\n

Citing the biblical story of Dinah, the daughter of Jacob, who was raped, the Reverend said the Bible itself highlights the existence of soul ties following that incident. He used the example to show that such bonds can form even in situations that are neither consensual nor long-term.<\/p>\n

He further stated that sexual intimacy carries emotional and spiritual consequences, especially when one of the partners has a spiritual or cult background. According to him, people in such relationships often struggle to walk away even when they want to.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you are with someone who has a cult background, the soul tie becomes very strong, and the spiritual implications become worse,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Rev Annan added that sexual encounters are not always about pleasure. \u201cPeople don\u2019t sleep with you just for pleasure but for something else as well,\u201d he said, implying that some people have deeper motives or spiritual intentions behind sex.<\/p>\n

He also spoke about the exchange of blood during sex, explaining that blood is sacred and often used in sacrifices. Describing human blood as the highest form, he said that during sexual intimacy there is a level of blood exchange that strengthens the soul tie, making it even harder to break.<\/p>\n

He warned that sexual encounters can sometimes lead to spiritual exchanges. \u201cThere are people that when you have sex with them, you have sold your soul to them,\u201d he cautioned.<\/p>\n

On the issue of ex-relationships, Rev Annan urged people to make conscious efforts to close old chapters once they marry. He advised the woman in question to cut ties with her ex and focus on her husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cClose the chapter with your ex and move on. Concentrate on your marriage,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also stressed the importance of careful consideration before marriage, urging individuals to think deeply about whether their chosen partners will support their dreams, ambitions, and goals. \u201cThis decision I have taken to be with this person, will the marriage last, and would I be able to achieve all my ambitions and goals?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

Rev Annan also spoke about emotional vulnerability after heartbreak, explaining that breakups can leave people fragile and prone to poor decisions. He noted that those who are emotionally weak after heartbreak often become targets for manipulation.<\/p>\n

Discussing relationship dynamics, he observed that men also have preferences when choosing marriage partners, not just based on looks or character but on sexual compatibility. \u201cMen want their show in a different way and also have some preferences as well,\u201d he said, adding that these preferences can influence how marriages work.<\/p>\n

He linked the woman\u2019s continued attachment to her ex to possible sexual dissatisfaction in her marriage. \u201cIf the woman is not being sexually satisfied, that is why she is going back to her ex. She should teach the husband how to satisfy her instead of cheating, which will definitely end up in disaster,\u201d he advised.<\/p>\n

Rev Annan concluded by encouraging individuals to take their time before marriage, stressing that it should not be a trial-and-error venture. \u201cYou need to take your time and get to know the situation, and if you can\u2019t, then you back out,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
