The remains of 12-year-old David, who was swept away by the Okrudu River at Kasoa following a heavy downpour earlier this week, have been found.<\/p>\n

Adom News earlier reported that the boy was carried away by floodwaters at Kasoa American Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.<\/p>\n

After an intensive four-day search, his body was recovered at Fijai in the Gomoa East District.<\/p>\n

According to eyewitnesses, David was on his way to pick up his siblings from school when the incident occurred. His slippers reportedly fell into a gutter, and in an attempt to retrieve them, he followed them toward the Okrudu River. Tragically, the strong currents swept him away.<\/p>\n

The Assembly Member for the Kasoa American Town Electoral Area, Shadrach Boakye Yiadom, confirmed the recovery of the body and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.<\/p>\n

He also urged residents to be cautious during heavy rains and avoid flooded areas to prevent similar tragedies.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
