Ghanaian blogger and humanitarian, Kobby Kyei, has urged young content creators not to measure their success by the number of likes and comments they receive on social media.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview on The Career Trail programme on Joy Learning TV and Joy News, he explained that digital impact goes beyond surface-level engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow many times have you seen something on social media that you really loved, but you just scrolled past without liking or commenting? It happens all the time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHence, if I post about a donation I\u2019ve done and I\u2019m waiting for your comment to validate my work, then I won\u2019t move forward,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

He therefore encouraged creators to look at deeper analytics instead.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe insights tell you more. A post might show only a few likes, but it could have reached 20,000 or 50,000 people. Why should likes and comments be the yardstick for my success journey?\u201d<\/p>\n

According to him, many young bloggers become discouraged when they don\u2019t get immediate engagement, arguing that it is the wrong mindset.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe world is watching you. Don\u2019t let your environment hold you back. Coming from a poor background doesn\u2019t mean your back is on the ground. In this digital era, people from the US, Indonesia, and all over the world could be following you without your knowledge,\u201d he emphasised.<\/p>\n

For Kobby Kyei, success is about consistency, impact, and global reach, not just online reactions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
