Former Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority, Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, has admitted Otto Addo has \u2018shamed\u2019 him after Ghana humbled Central Africa Republic, a result that puts the Black Stars just one point away from qualification for the 2026 World Cup tournament.<\/p>\n

Addo is set to become the first Ghanaian coach to qualify the national team to two world Cups, having beaten Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs in Africa.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Nhyira FM\u2019s Power Sports show, Kwadwo Agyemang said Otto Addo has proven his doubters wrong but he is still not good enough for the world stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cOtto Addo has shamed me. He has changed a lot since the Mali game. In other words, he is learning.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will surely be at the World Cup, but Otto Addo can\u2019t lead us to face teams like Spain, Italy, Portugal, Brazil and Argentina. He is a qualification expert and he has taken us there, now we should look at the bench again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI won\u2019t take anything away from, his statistics in the qualifiers speak for him, but his composure and how he presents himself at the bench is suspicious.\u201d<\/p>\n

Otto Addo still faces public scrutiny despite making amends for the failure to qualify for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.<\/p>\n

The Sports Minister, Kofi Adams described Otto Addo as \u201clucky\u201d but says there are still major concerns about his performance.<\/p>\n

The Black Stars coach remains unbeaten in the qualifiers winning six out of seven games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
