Building on the remarkable success of the first six editions of Agrofood & Plastprintpack Ghana, featuring a top-level trade show, conference, and active participation from key Ghanaian ministries and associations, the orgnaisers (Fairtrade and ACE) are delighted to announce an even more vibrant experience for 2025.<\/p>\n

Taking place biannually, the 7th edition in 2025 will again be a key gathering for Ghana and West Africa\u2019s agrofood and plastprintpack sectors.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with Geovision, the exhibition and conference will be held from 28 to 30 October 2025 at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre.<\/p>\n

The high-level conference programme include a rich conference that will bring together policymakers, technology leaders, and industry experts to discuss agribusiness development, food processing, sustainable packaging, and circular economy models.<\/p>\n

The Netherlands Pavilion will again showcase Dutch innovation and sustainable agri-technology, supported by strong institutional partners from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

A new feature in 2025 is the International Trade Centre (ITC) Pavilion, which brings together exhibitors from Nigeria and C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire under one roof. This regional initiative promotes South-South cooperation and business partnerships within West Africa.<\/p>\n

The South Africa Pavilion \u2013 supported by the Western Cape Government \u2013 will also highlight advanced food, beverage, and packaging technologies from leading South African innovators.<\/p>\n

Exhibitors from 15 Countries<\/strong><\/p>\n

Companies from China, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, the Netherlands, Nigeria, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates will present technologies, products, and solutions tailored to the Ghanaian and West African markets.<\/p>\n

Strong Performance in 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2023 edition was a tremendous success, featuring 63 exhibitors from 12 countries and pavilions from Ghana Exports Promtion Authority, GIZ, Italy, the Netherlands, and Nigeria. An impressive 89% of exhibitors reported being satisfied or very satisfied with the event.<\/p>\n

Ghana\u2019s Agrofood & Plastprintpack Market Trends<\/strong><\/p>\n

Investments in the food and beverages sector increased from \u20ac59 million in 2017 to \u20ac73 million in 2023 (+3.6% per year, VDMA).<\/p>\n

With a population exceeding 40 million in 2024 and projected to reach 80 million by 2050, according to the World Bank. This means Ghana represents a fast-growing consumer market.<\/p>\n

However, Ghana imported food worth US$1.8 billion and exported US$3.0 billion in 2023, according to the World Trade Organisation.<\/p>\n

With its combination of high-level conferences, international pavilions, and strong regional participation, agrofood & plastprintpack Ghana 2025 will once again be the industry\u2019s must-attend platform for networking, learning, and investment in West Africa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
