The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) has distanced itself from a number of fraudulent social\u00a0media posts and fake\u00a0websites circulating online.<\/p>\n

According to the Oil Marketing Company, these advertisements\u00a0and websites are FAKE\u00a0and not authorised by\u00a0GOIL.<\/p>\n

\u201cGOIL has not launched any investment\u00a0scheme that guarantees monthly\u00a0returns on shares or cards\u201d, it stated in a press release from the Corporate Affairs Department\u2019 <\/p>\n

\u201cAny use of GOIL\u2019s name, logo, or image in such promotions is considered fraudulent and intended to mislead the public\u201d, it explained further.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe caution the general public to disregard such stories and to avoid engaging with promoters\u00a0of these scams.\u00a0For accurate information about GOIL, please rely only on our official website (https:\/\/www.goil.com.gh)\u00a0and social media pages (Facebook (GOIL.official), Instagram (goil_gh), Twitter\/X (@GOIL.Official), Linkedin (https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/ghana-oil-company-limited\/)\u201d, it pointed out.<\/p>\n
