He claimed that more than 44 licenses were issued between November and December 2024 following the passage of Legislative Instrument (LI) 2462.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t even live here but I know. I am not a parliamentarian, but I know that your government issued about 44 licenses right after the November LI 2462. Between November and December, they issued over 44 licenses to people to go and mine in the forests. So if you come and sit here and tell us your government never issued any licenses, either you\u2019re lying to us or you didn\u2019t do your research well. That\u2019s why I am advising you that next time, do your research,\u201d Dr. Owusu said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Suame MP bristled at the remarks, describing them as disrespectful.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cStop addressing me like that. What do I know about you that you live in the United States? That it is such a big deal? Who are you?\u201d Mr. Darko shot back.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/sotnews.agency\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/WhatsApp-Video-2025-10-05-at-12.50.47.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The exchanges escalated further, with both men trading personal jabs.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cYoung man, go ahead and make your point,\u201d Mr. Darko interjected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not a young man; I\u2019m older than you. Keep quiet and listen to me. Education-wise, financially, everything\u2014never compare yourself to me. You\u2019re just a mere Member of Parliament,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The host, Blessed Sogah, was eventually forced to cut to a commercial break to restore calm.<\/p>\n<p>The fiery
