President John Mahama has charged newly sworn-in Justices of the Court of Appeal to uphold courage, integrity, and humility as guiding principles in their service to the nation.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony at the Jubilee House on Thursday, October 2, he reminded them that justice is not a privilege but the very foundation of Ghana\u2019s democracy and development.<\/p>\n

\u201cJustice is not a luxury, it is a foundation for all these,\u201d President Mahama said.<\/p>\n

He explained that the judiciary\u2019s responsibility goes beyond legal interpretation to restoring the faith of citizens in fairness and accountability. <\/p>\n

\u201cAt this moment in our national journey, Ghanaians need reasons to hold onto hope. They need to believe again that the courts are not distant temples of law but living guardians of fairness,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

President Mahama also urged the justices to resist political or financial pressure in their rulings, stressing that history celebrates judges who \u201cstood firmly for principles when it mattered most.\u201d <\/p>\n

He said every ruling they deliver must reassure Ghanaians that \u201cjustice is not for sale\u201d and that truth still prevails in the republic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
