Four out of the six members of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Ghana voted for the policy rate to be cut by 350 basis points to 21.5%.<\/p>\n

This was captured in the minutes of the meeting of the MPC.<\/p>\n

They cited improved economy, better economic outlook, and slowing inflation as reasons being their position.<\/p>\n

However, they expressed worry about the impact of the upcoming utility hikes on inflation.<\/p>\n
