Ghanaian highlife musician Akwaboah received a special honour at the Youth in Business (YIB) Summit 2025, held on 18th September at the British Council in Accra.<\/p>\n

The recognition, was for his outstanding entrepreneurship and enduring impact on the music scene in Ghana and abroad, as a young achiever.<\/p>\n

Akwaboah is a talented musician, a gifted writer and entrepreneur, whose philanthropic efforts (often behind the scenes) have affected society positively. He is admired for his thought-provoking lyrics and the didactic messages he communicates through melody and rhythm.<\/p>\n

The Youth in Business Summit brings together young entrepreneurs, creatives, policymakers and innovators to explore opportunities for business and national development.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition, organised in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Development, was held under the theme \u201cIgnite the Future: Youth Power, Innovation, and Impact.\u201d It offered participants practical tools, knowledge and inspiration to build sustainable businesses and support Ghana\u2019s economic growth.<\/p>\n

The two-day programme featured panel discussions, keynote addresses, skill-building workshops and networking sessions.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the honour, Akwaboah shared a video of the moment on social media, describing it as humbling.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the award-winning artiste has released a new single on self-love titled Obinim.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
