Ghana\u2019s U-17 team, the Black Starlets, are gearing up for a decisive Group A clash against hosts Ivory Coast at the WAFU Zone B U-17 Boys Championship in Yamoussoukro.<\/p>\n

After being held to a 1-1 draw by Togo in their opening match, the Starlets know victory is key to boosting their chances of reaching the knockout stage.<\/p>\n

Head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has stressed the need for sharper finishing in front of goal,<\/p>\n

\u201cCreating the chance is not the problem. It\u2019s about conversion and because of that we had a full session on goal scoring in our last training session,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ogum added that the team has been recreating in-game situations to sharpen their decision-making in front of goal.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of the situations that happened in the game were recreated and we worked on the finishing in our last training session. The conversion was good at training and I\u2019m sure our conversion against Ivory Coast will be better,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
