The data is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Haruna Iddrisu<\/strong>: <strong>27%<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Johnson Asiedu Nketiah<\/strong>: <strong>26%<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson<\/strong>: <strong>22%<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Julius Debrah<\/strong>: <strong>11%<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa<\/strong>: <strong>8%<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The data shows a significant gap between the top three candidates and the others, suggesting that the \u201cjostling\u201d for the flagbearer position is becoming more pronounced.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Dankwah confirmed that the poll was conducted to gauge the popularity of key figures within the party. <\/p>\n<p>He mentioned that if the current Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, who is an unconfirmed candidate, were to contest, her name would be included in future polls.<\/p>\n<p>The findings come amidst a period of political manoeuvring within the NDC, with several high-ranking members embarking on \u201cThank You Tours\u201d and \u201cHealth Walks,\u201d which are widely interpreted as early campaign activities. <\/p>\n<p>These events are often seen as a way for potential candidates to connect with the party\u2019s grassroots base and build momentum ahead of any official contest. <\/p>\n<p>The NDC\u2019s constitution requires a flagbearer to be elected by delegates ahead of a general election.<\/p>\n<p>The last flagbearer race saw John Dramani Mahama secure a resounding victory, but the race for his
