The African Paralympic Committee (AfPC) has announced a groundbreaking virtual engagement with the two confirmed candidates for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Presidency.<\/p>\n

The special dialogue, scheduled for Tuesday, 16th September 2025, at 14:00 GMT (Accra), is set to give Africa\u2019s para-sport leaders a direct voice in shaping the future of the Paralympic Movement.<\/p>\n

The candidates, Mr. Bae Dong Hyun (10:00 AM Accra time) and President Andrew George Parsons (12:00 PM Accra time), will each present their vision and respond to questions from African National Paralympic Committees (NPCs).<\/p>\n

The structured format ensures transparency, inclusivity, and meaningful exchange, with the entire process expected to last three hours.<\/p>\n

AfPC President Mr. Samson Deen emphasized the importance of this moment:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Africa\u2019s moment to listen, engage, and assert our vision for the future of para-sport. I urge every African NPC to be present and contribute to these critical conversations with the IPC presidential candidates.\u201d<\/p>\n

The AfPC is strongly encouraging all NPC Presidents, Secretaries-General, and representatives across the continent to participate.<\/p>\n

Their active involvement will demonstrate Africa\u2019s unity, amplify its influence, and reinforce the continent\u2019s determination to advance inclusion, equity, and growth in global para-sport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
