Accra Hearts of Oak will be chasing a first domestic trophy in three years when the football season begins tomorrow.<\/p>\n

The Phobians have not won a domestic title since they lifted the MTN FA Cup in 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.<\/p>\n

However, there is real optimism ahead of the new season after winning the Homowo and Democracy Cups in the offseason.<\/p>\n

Hearts defeated Great Olympics by a long goal last Friday, to win the 2025 Democracy Cup<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u2018\u2018Our goal is to try to compete aggressively in all the competitions across the structure of our football in Ghana,\u2019\u2019 new coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

New manager or not, the mass recruitment style remains the same, with 15 new players arriving to ostensibly compete on all fronts.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2018Going into the new season and (starting from our opener) against Hohoe United, we need to package ourselves strongly and stay consistent in a more sustainable way in terms of all the competitions.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

After hosting Hohoe United in Friday\u2019s season opener, the Phobians will make the short trip to Dreams on September 19, before hosting Premier League returnees Eleven Wonders at home to conclude the opening month of the season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
