Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has openly expressed her admiration for fellow artist Ayra Starr, emphasizing her support for Starr\u2019s bold fashion choices.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with Kiss FM in the UK, Savage revealed that she is \u201cobsessed\u201d with the young Afrobeats sensation, praising her talent and authenticity.<\/p>\n

Savage addressed the criticism Ayra Starr has faced for her short skirts, encouraging the rising star to embrace her style even more.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love Ayra [Starr]. I\u2019m obsessed with her. She\u2019s amazing and genuine, too,\u201d Savage stated. Reflecting on her own experiences, she added, \u201cIt makes me emotional because when I started, I got criticized a lot for dressing too sexy and my lyrics being too risky.\u201d<\/p>\n

Having faced similar backlash for her fashion choices early in her career, Savage stood firmly in support of Starr.<\/p>\n

She suggested that the young singer should make her skirts even shorter, dismissing the critics\u2019 disapproval. \u201cSo, seeing someone, Ayra now\u2026 If I see her wearing the short skirts as they [critics] say, I\u2019m like, \u2018Make it shorter,’\u201d Savage remarked.<\/p>\n

Despite the scrutiny, Ayra Starr continues to shine on the global music scene. Savage highlighted her resilience and exceptional talent, concluding, \u201cAnd she looks amazing, she\u2019s extremely talented. Yeah, she\u2019s a star.\u201d<\/p>
