Ghana\u2019s Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is not satisfied with the performance of his players in the draw with Chad in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.<\/p>\n

The nation\u2019s hopes of widening their lead in Group I of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers were dented after Jordan Ayew\u2019s opener was cancelled out by Chad\u2019s Ecua Celestin.<\/p>\n

It was Chad first point of the campaign, having lost all six of their previous games.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end, I can\u2019t say we played excellent, or we played well, because the result is everything,\u201d Addo said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we had scored two or three goals, we would have talked differently, I know. But, again, respect to Chad for the good defending. I don\u2019t know how many corners we had, we had a lot of corners, we did nothing out of that, we had a lot of shots, attempts on the goal, we had a lot of ball possession, and normally we have to win this game.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo this is, at the end, surely not good enough, and we have to improve, especially on our execution.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the setback, Ghana remain top of Group I with 16 points, three ahead of Madagascar and four clear of Mali after seven rounds of matches.<\/p>\n

The Black Stars will quickly turn their attention to Monday\u2019s crucial clash with Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
