The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has opened a new office at Akyem Boadua in the Denkyembour District of the Eastern Region to improve access to road safety services.<\/p>\n

DVLA Chief Executive Officer Julius Neequaye Kotey said the project aligns with President Mahama\u2019s reset agenda. <\/p>\n

He also announced the introduction of new vehicle number plates without registration years, urging the public to take note of the change.<\/p>\n

Mr. Kotey reaffirmed the DVLA\u2019s commitment to ensuring that drivers are properly licensed and vehicles remain roadworthy to enhance safety on Ghana\u2019s roads.<\/p>\n

Eastern Regional Minister Rita Akosua Adjei Awate praised the initiative as part of the government\u2019s efforts to decentralize state institutions and bring essential services closer to the people.<\/p>\n

Denkyembour District Chief Executive, Hon. Umar Ahmid Tutu, expressed gratitude to President Mahama for completing the project, describing it as a major boost to the district.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
