The Paramount Chief of the Prampram Traditional Area, Nene Tetteh Wakah III, has appealed to government to find a lasting solution to the persistent water shortages that have plagued the community for years.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a colourful durbar to climax the weeklong Homowo festivities, he noted that despite previous interventions, including the supply of water tankers to some neighbourhoods, the situation has continued to deteriorate. <\/p>\n

He highlighted that much of the town went without water throughout the celebrations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are not luxuries; they are basic necessities of life,\u201d he stressed, calling for urgent and permanent action.<\/p>\n

The Paramount Chief also reaffirmed Prampram\u2019s commitment to development and urged the two traditional areas, together with Shai Osudoku, to unite and work collectively for the progress of their people. <\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s work together for unity and progress,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The four sub-divisional leaders pledged renewed loyalty to the stool and encouraged residents to pursue unity, wisdom, and resilience in the face of challenges. <\/p>\n

\u201cLet us not lose faith in our future,\u201d Nene Wakah III said.<\/p>\n

The durbar brought together traditional and religious leaders, business leaders, and residents. <\/p>\n

It was also attended by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, the Member of Parliament for the area, Sam George, and other government officials.<\/p>\n
