The government of Ghana has significantly reduced its outstanding tuition debt to the University of Memphis (UofM) in the United States, bringing the balance down to $1.35 million after a series of recent payments.<\/p>\n

The university confirmed to Action News 5 on Tuesday that a second payment of $1 million had been received, lowering the country\u2019s initial debt of over $3 million. <\/p>\n
