The police have arrested a resident of Sekondi in the Western Region on suspicion of murdering his younger brother, named Francis Mensah, aged 17.<\/p>\n

Anthony Acquah was picked up by police personnel from the\u00a0Kwesimintsim District Command on August 20, 2025, from a hideout.<\/p>\n

The incident is said to have happened on August 16\u00a0at Mampong-Pepease, a suburb of Sekondi.<\/p>\n

According to a police statement, the suspect, Acquah, went into hiding after the incident and was arrested four days later from his hideout at Kojokrom near Sekondi, following an intelligence-led operation.<\/p>\n

The police indicated that preliminary investigation has revealed that on August 16, around 6 p.m., a misunderstanding ensued between Acquah and his younger brother, Mensah, during which he allegedly stabbed him to death.<\/p>\n

The suspect reportedly fled the scene immediately after the incident and went into hiding until his arrest four days later.<\/p>\n

Acquah is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
