Mrs Letitia Asante, mother of the late Defence Minister, Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, has described her son as a miracle child and the fulfilment of her prayers.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou were not just my child; you were my miracle, my answered prayer, my only son, and my treasure in whom I am pleased,\u201d she said at the state funeral in Accra on T<\/p>\n

She recalled the moment she first held him in her arms on 26th December 1975 at Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital, saying she instantly knew her life had changed forever. <\/p>\n

Mrs Asante said she had watched him grow from a curious little boy with bright eyes into a man of wisdom, compassion, and unshakable integrity. \u201cEvery step you took, I was there quietly cheering, praying, and believing in the greatness God placed in you,\u201d she added, her words moving mourners to tears.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
