Assistant captain of Cedar Stars, Ruben Quaye, has hailed his team\u2019s resilience and unity after clinching gold and bronze medals at the 2025 Norway Cup and Gothia Cup respectively.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the side\u2019s triumphant return from Europe, Quaye described the moment as \u201can honour\u201d to share in the pride of representing Ghana on the international stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to thank the Almighty God for the gift of life and strength He gave us, and to all the leaders of Cedar Stars for the opportunity and trust they had in us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Cedar Stars, the youth team of Inter Allies, battled their way to a third-place finish at the Gothia Cup in Sweden, earning bronze medals. Quaye said the tournament tested the team\u2019s discipline and mental toughness.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe journey to the 2025 Gothia Cup in Sweden and the 2025 Norwegian Cup was not easy. It took months of hard training, sacrifices, and a strong belief that we could represent our country well,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s campaign reached its peak in Norway, where they were crowned champions of the prestigious Norway Cup, taking home gold medals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese trophies and medals are not just symbols of victory; they are proof of what discipline, unity, and determination can achieve. They remind us that success is sweeter when it is achieved for a greater cause \u2014 our beloved Ghana,\u201d Quaye stressed.<\/p>\n

He expressed gratitude to Ghana\u2019s sports authorities for their support, as well as to the team\u2019s coaches, families, and fans who cheered them on.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe dedicate these achievements to our country, our families, our coaches, and every Ghanaian who cheered us on from near and far. This is not the end; it is only the beginning of greater things to come,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Cedar Stars\u2019 impressive double podium finish at two of the world\u2019s biggest youth tournaments marks a significant milestone in their development, and Quaye believes with continued support, the team will keep raising Ghana\u2019s flag high.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
