Genser Energy has expressed condolences to Ghana after eight prominent Ghanaians, including two cabinet ministers and senior military officers, were killed in a helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n

The aircraft went down on 6 August at Adansi Akrofuom, claiming the lives of Defence Minister Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah; Environment, Science and Technology Minister Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed (MP); Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Muniru Mohammed; National Democratic Congress vice-chairman Dr Samuel Sarpong; former parliamentary candidate Samuel Aboagye; Squadron Leader Peter Baafemi Anala; Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu; and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Genser Energy described the victims as \u201csymbols of courage, dedication, and an unyielding commitment to Ghana\u2019s advancement,\u201d adding: \u201cWe are deeply heartbroken by the passing of these distinguished sons of Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir service, dedication, and sacrifice in the line of duty stand as shining examples of patriotism, integrity, and love for Ghana,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven in the shadow of this immense tragedy, may we find strength in their example, unity in our shared loss, and hope in the belief that their legacy inspires future generations to serve Ghana with the same courage, vision, and devotion,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n

Ghanaian authorities have opened an investigation into the cause of the crash, which has shaken the nation and prompted tributes from across the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
