Besiktas\u00a0are in talks to sign coach Jos\u00e9 Mourinho and Argentina international\u00a0\u00c1ngel Di Mar\u00eda\u00a0according to the Turkish club\u2019s vice-president Huseyin Yucel.<\/p>\n

Mourinho, 61, has been without a job since being\u00a0fired by Roma in January.<\/p>\n

Besiktas parted company with former\u00a0Portugal\u00a0coach Fernando Santos in April following the team\u2019s poor run of form and named former youth coach Halim Okta as interim manager for the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbout a month ago I met Jos\u00e9 Mourinho in Istanbul and he listened to our offer,\u201d Yucel told TGRT Haber TV<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said he would think about it and give us an answer. He responded after a while and said he would like to meet again in Italy next week.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe [have] met Mourinho\u2019s financial expectations. We are prepared to satisfy his salary demands. We will evaluate his hiring with the board of directors. If we reach an agreement with Mourinho, we will recommend that he includes [ex-Besiktas player] Ricardo Quaresma in the [coaching] team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Besiktas, who are fifth in the Turkish Super Lig with one round remaining and take on Trabzonspor in Thursday\u2019s Turkish Cup final, also want to bring in Di Mar\u00eda this summer.<\/p>
