sorrow and grief following the heartbreaking helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight illustrious Ghanaians.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released today, the association expressed its deepest condolences over the tragic loss of all eight individuals who were on a national assignment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe extend our heartfelt condolences to President John Dramani Mahama, the bereaved families, and the entire nation during this time of profound loss,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p> The GIA honoured the memory of the deceased, listing the names of all eight individuals who perished in the crash:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Defence<\/li>\n<li>Alhaji Dr Murtala Mohammed, MP for Tamale Central and Minister for Environment, Science &#038; Technology<\/li>\n<li>Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Samuel Sarpong, Vice-Chairman of the National Democratic Congress<\/li>\n<li>Samuel Aboagye, Deputy Director-General of NADMO<\/li>\n<li>Squadron Leader Peter Anala of the Ghana Air Force<\/li>\n<li>Flying Officer Tsum Ampadu of the Ghana Air Force<\/li>\n<li>Sergeant Ernest Addo of the Ghana Air Force<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The GIA called for calm and decorum in the wake of the tragedy. \u201cWe urge all to refrain from speculation and to continue showing respect to the memory of the departed
