They are being supported by the Army Commander.<\/p>\n<p>He further explained, \u201cThe other team will visit the two other families to offer the government\u2019s condolences and support during this very difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo accept our sympathy and condolences. It is a very difficult moment for all of us,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/gaf-helicopter-crashes-at-adansi-akrofuom-occupants-feared-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The government has confirmed the deaths of eight individuals in a military helicopter crash <\/a>that occurred on Wednesday, August 6, in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n<p>Among the deceased are Ghana\u2019s Defence Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, and the Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Murtala Mohammed.<\/p>\n<p>The programme they were attending at Obuasi was the launch of the Responsible Cooperative Mining and Skills Development Programme, rCOMSDEP, a flagship initiative designed to transform Ghana\u2019s artisanal and
