The Private Universities Students\u2019 Association of Ghana (PUSAG) has expressed gratitude to the government of Ghana and the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) for what it describes as a \u201chistoric milestone\u201d in student financing.<\/p>\n

For the first time in the history of the SLTF, all students in accredited private universities who applied for loans have successfully received their disbursements. <\/p>\n

PUSAG extended special appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer of the SLTF, Hajia Dr Saajida Hiraz, for her exceptional leadership and dedication in ensuring that private university students were not left behind in this year\u2019s disbursement process.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a landmark moment for students in private tertiary institutions,\u201d PUSAG National President Ibrahim Issah noted. \u201cWe commend the Government of Ghana, particularly the Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, for his unwavering support and vision for a holistic educational system that includes all students in private universities nationwide.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis unprecedented achievement is a testament to the government\u2019s commitment to inclusive education and equitable access to higher education financing\u201d.<\/p>\n

PUSAG reiterated its readiness to continue partnering with the SLTF and the Ministry of Education to advance policies and initiatives that promote educational access, equity, and national development.<\/p>\n

As the association champions the welfare of private university students across the country, it calls on beneficiaries to use this support responsibly and to uphold academic excellence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
