Mohammed Kudus will be working under a new manager at West Ham from next season after the club confirmed that David Moyes will depart at the end of the Premier League season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Moyes played a crucial role in the Ghana international joining the Hammers from Ajax on a five-year deal, but he will depart with former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui set to take over.<\/p>\n

Moyes faced mounting pressure after a string of poor results, including Sunday\u2019s 5-0 defeat by Chelsea, a match in which Kudus set an impressive Premier League record.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI have enjoyed four and a half brilliant years at West Ham, and the club is in a stronger position than when I returned back in 2019,\u201d Moyes remarked.<\/p>\n

The Scot returned for his second spell at the club in December 2019 and led them to Europa Conference League success last season, their first major trophy in 43 years.<\/p>\n\n

However, the team have struggled recently, winning just one of their last 10 games across all competitions and are likely to miss out on a fourth successive season in Europe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I joined West Ham for a second time, the club was one place above the relegation zone, and it has been a terrific journey to have achieved three consecutive seasons in Europe,\u201d Moyes added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to thank all the players for their support, and all the success they have achieved, over the last four and a half years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Moyes has been instrumental in Kudus\u2019 development, helping him settle at the club after his move for over 40 million euros. Kudus has repaid the faith with 13 goals and five assists in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

In February, Kudus spoke highly of his relationship with Moyes, stating, \u201cIt\u2019s good [relationship with David Moyes]. I\u2019m still trying to learn every day as a team and as an individual to be the player I see myself being. I have learned a lot from the coaching staff and the players as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCredit to the team and the coaches here for the fast start I made, as they helped me settle very well and improve every day. We are still learning and there\u2019s still a long way to go.\u201d<\/p>\n
